The third edition of the Punjab Art Initiative, the public art festival supported by the Yuj Arts Foundation, was inaugurated on September 29, 2024, with the theme “Transcending Boundaries.” Inaugurated by the finance minister of Punjab, Mr. Harpal Singh Cheema, the day also featured the unveiling of the "Kala Car," live music performances, and a live sand art show. Highlights included a miniature painting session and workshops by students from Chandigarh University. With over 300 art installations, sculptures on display, the festival also features collaborations with UNESCO and Chandigarh Tourism- Le Corbusier Centre, and Arts for the future festival powered by United Nations Civil Society Conference. Punjab Art Initiative serves as a vibrant platform for artistic expression and community engagement, celebrating the rich cultural heritage of Punjab.
